On Friday the developers of the new Lake Houses at Christmas Island community were on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony launching this waterfront community along the shores of Paugus Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee. Located on Weirs Boulevard, the community includes 1,000ft of shorefront on Lake Winnipesaukee with 3.2 acres enjoying westerly exposure. 16 new, direct-waterfront luxury, duplex- townhomes are currently being constructed. Two of townhomes have been completed, two are near completion and the foundations and site work has been completed for the remaining units. Each of the homes will include their own individual boat slip. There are several natural, sandy beaches with westerly exposure for those blazing sunsets. Each home is serviced with city water and sewer and underground utilities. The completed units feature 3-levels of custom living space, spacious decks fronting on the lake and attached garages.
