Loudon was incorporated in 1773 with a total area of 47.5 sq miles. New Hampshire International Speedway, which is home to NASCAR racing and the Loudon classic, features a 100,000+ seat stadium – the largest stadium in New England. Loudon is only a 20 minute commute to the Lakes Region and Concord – the states capital. Races are held regularly during the spring, summer & fall. For one weekend every June, motorcycle fans from all over the country attend the oldest Grand National championship motorcycle road race in the country – The Loudon Classic, which attracts approximately 300,000 tourists to the region. Loudon has an 18 hole public course – the Loudon Country Club. The town enjoys a rural character with a number of original farmstead properties.
