Born and raised in Boston, Mary spent every summer for as long as she could remember in New Hampshire. Mary, her husband Joseph, and their four children moved to Gilford, NH as a young family. Mary had a life-long dream of raising a family in the beautiful Lakes Region, and Mary and Joseph wanted their children to grow up in the incredible community they had come to love.
Real Estate has always been a part of the MacDonald family, with Mary and her husband Joseph having over four decades of combined experience assisting homeowner hopefuls to become locals. Beyond her years of experience in Real Estate, Mary has a robust and expansive background in business management and hospitality. For almost two decades, Mary shared her passion for New Hampshire with both travelers and locals alike through her work running the food and beverage services at Gunstock Ski Resort and Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.
Mary is well-known in the Lakes Region and surrounding communities for her work professionally and as a community leader. Whether assisting prospective homebuyers through the home buying process (helping to make a once-in-a-lifetime event magical) or raising funds for philanthropic efforts, Mary has made a name for herself with her empathy, passion for serving the community, and her incredible work ethic. Notably, she enjoyed raising funds for the Lakes Region Disabled Sports Program, created to ensure an inclusive experience for all who want to experience skiing in the Lakes Region.
After years of captivating visitors at NH attractions, Mary returned to her first love – helping clients find the perfect house to make a home. For her clients, she brings more than just her experience and knowledge. She brings integrity, passion, and an incredible network of business and community leaders to help her clients navigate their Real Estate needs and connect with the communities they will soon call “home.”
