Derek is a lifelong Lakes Region resident. Having grown up in Tilton and living in Laconia for the last 6+ years, Derek has a vast knowledge about all that the Lakes Region has to offer its residents. He is looking forward to using the interpersonal skills he has built in his career so far and his knowledge of our local community to help his clients find what’s right for them in this constantly evolving environment.

Derek began his career at a local favorite family-owned business, Laconia Pet Center, where he honed skills in customer service. He graduated LRCC with a degree in Electrical Construction. He later went on to manage an independent Verizon retailer in Meredith where he further honed his skills in solving his customers issues with care, compassion, and attentive service. Derek then moved on to work at a resort at one of the Lakes Region’s most beautiful landscapes, Steele Hill. After briefly working in their vacation ownership department he moved into a position at the front desk where he once again practiced his skills at customer relations and problem solving. He also enjoys his seasonal job as a Bartender at Bank of NH Pavilion, where he’s able to see amazing live music at one of the states most beautiful concert venues.

Derek enjoys his free time exploring and experiencing this beautiful state with his wife Shayna and two French Bulldogs, Brixton and Nova. Hiking, kayaking, swimming, disc golf, and tennis are some of their favorite ways to enjoy life in the Lakes Region. In the colder months he enjoys playing and watching hockey. Derek is also an avid gardener who loves helping his community learn about ways gardening can improve their properties and the local ecosystems we are all a part of.

After nearly decade of various forms of customer service jobs Derek is really looking forward to putting his skills to work in the Real Estate industry. Using the skills he’s crafted he intends to build long lasting relationships and deliver results to all his clients in the Lakes Region using the industry leading tools Roche Realty Group has to offer.
